  Karin is thrilled to be working with the talented, energetic actors of The Essential Players in their production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Karin has been involved in school and community theatre for 15 years. Some of her favourite acting roles include Katherine in The Taming of the Shrew (Calvin College), Alizon in The Lady’s Not for Burning and Hedda in Hedda Gabler (Dundas Little Theatre). She has enjoyed directing many productions including Lost in Yonkers, Us and Them, Sammy Carducci’s Guide to Women, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, You Can’t Take it With You, Little Women, and The Matchmaker. Karin is also passionate about Christian education. She has spent the last 11 years of her professional life teaching English and drama at Hamilton District Christian High. Now more than ever, she is committed to being a Christian professional in the arts, whether that be in education or professional theatre. The mandate of The Essential Players—to be theatre professionals aspiring to high standards of conduct and performance—is exciting to her as she seeks to find ways to live her calling as a Christian artist. |
